Coole Music was founded with the aim of making classical music education more available to the community in south Galway and surrounding areas. It is a membership based non-profit organisation, dedicated to joyful, creative and supportive music making.
There are currently over 170 members in Coole Music, and membership is open to anyone interested in learning music.
We offer tuition in violin, viola, cello, piano, guitar, recorder, flute, clarinet, electric bass, trumpet, percussion, vocal training and melodeon.
We also operate an instrument rental scheme.

Coole Music acknowledges the support of The Arts Council and Music Network through the Music Capital Scheme 2009.
Other activities include Coole Kidz Choir, Coole Music Orchestra, Fiddle Fun, Playful Percussion, Music Macaroni and Toddler Tunes.
Coole Music acknowledges the support of Galway County Council Arts Funding Scheme, from which it was awarded €1,000 in 2010.
In 2007 Coole Music was extended to Coole Music & Arts and when working on themed productions, we often have classes available in Dance, Juggling and Puppetry.
Instrumental classes are held weekly in Gort Community School on Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday evenings. Toddler's Tunes takes place in the ICA Hall in Gort.
Various events take place throughout the year, all of which are organised by our very active Parents Committee.
